$45 for RoadRunner plus my basic cable bill. Just a little over $92 a month for everything. And that's no digital, converter box or remote either. Just a wire plugged into the back of my TV. :p

I hear you Greg i got letter mail of ATT turning into Comcast and raising prices i called my DSL provider they offered me same speed for 35 a month. These comcast people are very hard headed people, i called and told them i been customer for 5 years under ATT, i would like to stay as your customer put your price is to high. They said no, so i decided to switch to dsl but kinda hesitated because of bad expirience in the past.

$52 for cable internet and basic tv on Comcast. Got the satellite thing going for tv though, Before comcast took over, I got a 10 dollar discount for having both tv and internet. Basic was only 7 bucks. Figured I was saving 3 bucks and if/when the satellite goes tits up, can still get something. Need to check now that Comcast has taken over if I can drop the basic cable tv and still keep the same price on net connection.

I had cable (3 Mbps) in my old place and that was $50 (CAN)/month. After I moved to an area without cable, I had to get DSL (1.5 Mbps). Well I was paying $45/month + $5 per gig over 10 gigs/month to a max of $75, which I was getting, very expensive! They offer Ultra DSL (3 Mbps) with a 20 gig limit for an extra $25 ($70 total), so I figured it would be worth it to get that and I called them up. I was very surprised and happy to hear that they were eliminating the download bandwidth limits (I guess competition from cable who didn't have any download limits), and the price was $60 if you got a 1 year contract, so I got the Ultra anyway... :)
