7950 GX2 Xtreme "good overclocking"

Post by Echelon V »

Overclocks:
Memory 1500Mhz
Core 570Mhz

And during BF2's highest settings in game it stays at 67 degrees. Is the Xtreme version an underclocked XXX version?

dunno i have no experiance with that card so i dont know what temperature would be safe, but as a guideline i would stay under the 70 mark.
Athlon 4400 X2, @ 2.5Ghz, 1.375v validation
Corsair 3200C2 2.5-3-3-6 @ 1T Twinx 2GB,
Nvidia 7800GTX 256MB XFX @ 467/1.28,
A8N Sli Premium ASUS,

Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS.

Thank you very much for the reply.

:( I suppose nobody has heard of a cooler out for this card...... I am trying to stay away from liquid cooling I have already spent so much on hardware but heatpipe, fans, or new heatsinks are an option although I cannot find one for sale. Anybody have an idea? My case has decent cooling so I doubt its the problem. :(

And I am trying to keep it under the hundred USD mark. :o
