I can't get my Abit BE6 to post when I install my p3 750e in it.If I install a celeron 550 in it it runs fine and if I put the P3 750e in my Abit Sa6r that runs fine.I've gone into the bios of the be6 and set the cpu multiplier to 7.5,the fsb to 100 and the voltage to 1.65 after getting it to post with the celeron but when I try to reboot with the p3 I get a blank screen,Any suggestions????????

Check Abit's web site and see if you mobo supports the 750e. Maybe you need to flash your bios to a newer version to support the 750

When you're swapping chips are you clearing the bios between swaps or are you just putting the chip in and hitting the power switch? Sometimes when I'm testing chips with my BH6 I'll get the same problem if I swap chips and don't clear the bios in between. Try clearing the bios before you toss in the new chip.

On a side note, are you using a slot1 adapter? if so, is the adapter you use in the sa6r the same one that you're using in the be6? sometimes the adapters will have jumpers that need to be messed around with. You might want to try using a different adapter if one is easily avaliable.
