need help with cd-rom config..

ok.. here's my problem:
I have a scsi plextor burner and an ide acer cdrom drive.
And my win98 se only want to recognize one of 'em at the time..meaning if connect both of 'em--it will only recognize the scsi burner under device manager. If i disc the scsi ones--the ide drive will get recognize and so on...
but windoz refused to recognize both drives under device manager when I installed both drives...

Bios detected the ide drives--and my scsi adapater detected the burner...

run out of idea to get this working...
