What is it exactly and how do you get into it? I hear about it when people are talking about OCing. Thanks!

Here's a site I got from another post at this forum. I can't find the thread right now, but I did bookmarked the site. It should have everything you want to know.

The BIOS is the motherboard Basic Input / Output system. It's how it talks to the Operating system. Your startup screen usually says something like "press delete to enter startup" or something like that.
See
http://www.ping.be/bios/HTML1/settings.html
for info on bios settings. Careful what you change. If you mess something up, your motherboard manual should tell you how to make your bios go back to normal (its usually a jumper you have to connect)
