Backblaze lists SSD failure rates, they die faster than HDDs in lifetime

They had 14 drives fail out of 1,666 drives in a 14.2 month span. The Drive Days was listed as 591,501. Am I interpreting this right in saying that these drives would last about 1,600 years in a home use situation? However, if the Drive Days is cumulative for all 1,666 drives, they would only last a year. That would be odd.
