I never new something like this existed. Seems like it does quite a bit for less than $70.

Dang, could have used something like that back in my stagehand days.
Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.

That thing looks like it has more than 70 bucks worth of connectors on it. I remember how much them Neutrik connector used to be.

Re: Utimate Cable Tester?
I wound up making one for 3 and 4 pin XLR (microphone and intercom) back in the 80s when I worked as a stage hand. Nothing more frustrating than trying to figure out which 50ft cable in a 500 foot run has an intermittent connection.
Only thing I really use nowadays is a network cable tester that's invaluable for diagnosing network issues, I can't tell you how often I've discovered a network problem was a badly wired cable, usually installed by an amateur who had no idea what he's doing. Noting like finding a 300 foot main trunk line between two switches that was wired with incorrect pairing and is barely carrying 1 Mbit.
Client: 'My son ran those. Saved us a lot of money."
Me: "Wait until you see my bill."
