New light bulb tech gives LEDs a worthy rival

Post by FlyingPenguin »

It's nice to see other alternatives to CFLs and LEDs. Both have their limitations.

I always appreciate alternatives. But the start-up delay will be the death of them if they can't make it faster.

I knew a guy on the austin reef club that could grow mad sps corals using induction lighting. they looked like the round CF bulbs that are in the lab magnifying glasses.

So its a CFL packed into an a19 shaped bulb with slow starting times is new? I think I missed something. My bad.
I have run those spiral thingies for 3 years and only lost one in 19 of them. There great!
They start faster than you can notice and the one that died was constantly turned on/off. They hate that. Heres the ones I got.. pic to follow..

Ut ohh! cant post off Hd?
No biggie but its called fiet electric. 24 bulbs for 30? 3 years ago? Can't complain! :)
