I've always considered getting Grados. However, I've got a love affair with Koss.

I've got a good pair of Sony's that I've had for years and they sounded better than any Koss headphones at the time. I can't imagine paying $1700 for headphones and especially w/o testing them against a bunch of other brands.

Ditto. Been a long time fan of Sony studio monitor headphones. Being a former sound engineer I want a perfectly flat sound (no boosted highs or lows). Let ME adjust the equalization myself thank you.

I have the Sony MDR-ZX600. Use them at work when I'm doing boring things like metrics, or if the area around me is loud and I want to block out the noise, I put these on.
