wow...nice review. that's something i wouldn't have even thought much about. the only usb chargers i've checked specs on were for cars and getting dual-port usb.

Very nice. I always thought there was something odd with the cheap chargers.

To be honest I always thought the cheap chargers were actually real apple ones that failed QA. Interesting to be shown otherwise.

Nice info. I've pulled enough generic chargers apart to know that they were crap from the get-go. It's amazing how many corners they'll cut to save 3 cents. I had already found out that the cheapies are nothing but trouble. My phone doesn't like them at all (it'll constantly reboot). It's also touchy about generic cables as well. I'd be interested to see how DC-DC chargers do. I know reliability isn't their thing, but since they're already starting with low DC voltage, could they mess it up anyhow?

Well, hey, I just noticed the poll for what chargers to analyze next & the car chargers won. I guess I'll get to find out after all.
