Cannot write to Momentus HD

Ok.. So here's the skinny.. Have a bunch (100+) of these hard drives deployed right now. The Self Encryption is NOT enabled. However, after the initial machine image, if something goes wrong we cannot re-image them. No matter what we do. It gets to a point and says it cannot write to the last block and cancels it all out. Has anybody seen this/have a fix? I googled, but only came up with some MAC forums asking about it with no answers..

TIA!

how many drives/systems are you seeing this on? a quick search showed one person resolved it by replacing the hd cable...they said it was "bad". if it's happening on multiple systems, then clearly not the cable.

what imaging software are you using? have you tried to wipe the drive completely (all 0 pass or similar) and reformat?

Using WISM for the imaging.. It's related to the drive as far as we can tell, we can replace the drives with other drives that aren't like it and they work fine. These are on Dell E6320 and 6520s.. The drives came in a shipment of laptops we got, about 100... They're not all problems, it's only a problem when something happens and we need to re-image the machine. Instead of just being able to re-image it we have to open up a ticket for a replacement HD. ;\
