New motherboard has 8 pin cpu plug, PS has 6 pin?

It's not an 8 pin. It's two 4 pin power plugs. Almost all modern PSUs have two 4 pin power plugs.

I found the 8 pin connector, it was eluding me at first (LOL).
After I tidy up the wiring, with any luck the thing will boot up.
