Fooling with linux, I seem to have "lost" one of my partitions with all my MP3's on it. Its visible in Ubuntu, but not windows at all. Anyone have any tools I can use to resurrect it? I have all the files still on my android phone, but USB is SO slow.

It may just be that Windows isn't assigning it a drive letter. Can you see the partition in Disk Management? If so, right click on it and try assigning it a drive letter.

If the partition is not visible at all in Disk Management then I don't know what's happening. Even a non-windows partition should be visible. You can run a partition manager like the free Easeus Partition Master and see if it detects anything wrong with the partition: http://www.partition-tool.com/

Windows and the program you sent me see the partition (i can actually see the files from the program you sent). There is no drive letter assigned to it, and neither will assign one. Windows says cant connect to disk management service (works fine with other partitions), and Easeus says can't mount volume. Hmm..At least Easeus let me see that there isn't really anything I need on that partition anyways. I now realized I moved all my MP3's to another partition some time ago for some reason. I'll just blast it and re-create. Thanks!
