is it worth the headache to try and repair a lcd montor ?
i have a sony that the power light comes on and you see light up but not fully and then go's dim/dark screen ?

I got the same issue with a gateway. Bad caps on the power supply. I think its like 16 dollars for the cap set on egay, probably cheaper if i shop a little. But the lcd sold on ebay is like 60-75 shipped. I am going to sell the lcd and buy a new one with a warranty

Oh yeah, caps could be a problem too. Shame they cost so much.
