I am looking for a good video card. PCIe that must be a single slot to go into my shuttle. This is my main computer I use for video and some minor gaming. Any suggestions? I am finding it hard to find a single bay card.

The 5750 would also be a good bet.

If you go with a single bay 5750, watch your fan height. Although some models only take 1 bay, the fan sticks out a bit.

Yeah, Nvidia 8800 series is probably plenty fine for you. After that, things got pretty big pretty quick.

IIRC, the 9800GT is just a rebadged 8800GT? Somebody may correct me..

Found this on eBay :

I would go with a 9800GT if available. It's essentially the same as an 8800GT, and benchmarks about the same, but the chip die size is smaller because it's a 55nm fabricated chip instead of 65nm. For that reason it might run slightly cooler: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_9_ ... ce_9800_GT

BE AWARE that even though it's not a REALLY long card, the EGA 9800GT is still pretty long. The specs say it's 9 inches but I'm not sure if that includes the 6 pin power connector which IS on the end. I suspect the card is 8 inches plus 1 inch for the connector. Make sure you have the clearance. I'm pretty sure that it's the same length as an 8800GT.
