For those of you with an Iphone or Touch, there's an app that makes it a wireless mouse, touch pad device too (by Logitech) and it'd probably be great if you used a PC through your TV but otherwise I don't really see the point of it:

Way nice ... Let me know if anyone finds a retailer. This would be great for the HTPC.

I know someone who's ordering it from TomTop. I'll let you know how he makes out.

I've been using this for a while now & am quite happy with it. I'm not much into eraser type mice on laptops, but it's rather intuitive for HTPC use. Despite being IR, I hardly ever have line of sight on the receiver & still it works darn good. Oh, and I like the normal size keyboard. I don't even have the little remote thingy. Didn't come in my auction (only cost me like $20 shipped though). It's older for sure though, think it was developed before XP even (WebTV?).

Not to say I don't like that. If they can take it down another $20 I'd bite.

Follow up. A client of mine ordered one from the place that Sov tried to get one: http://www.tomtop.com/24g-wireless-mini ... 10332.html

It was back ordered for a while and we thought maybe he'd get screwed but eventually he got it. It really is rather nice. It recharges via a USB cable.

I'm going to order one for my new HTPC from Amazon for $60: http://www.amazon.com/Portable-Wireless ... 469&sr=8-3

Okay the keyboard arrived the other day. I got it very promptly - about 5 days.

It looks exactly like the one in the photo. It's very thin and contains a rechargeable lithium battery. It has a mini USB receiver that hides in a compartment in the keyboard. The keyboard itself also has a micro USB jack for recharging either from a PC's USB jack or a USB charger (the keyboard itself didn't come with a charger).

The touchpad works extremely well and you also have keyboard arrows under the touchpad. There are HTPC controls along the top and just about any function a regular keyboard can do it can do via a function key - even CTRL-ALT-DEL. Amazingly it's even got a back-light.

Overall a VERY cool HTPC remote and I would also highly recommend it for presentations. It even has a laser pointer built in although it's not the brightest one I've seen.

I'm thinking of ordering another pair for my other two HTPCs.
