Picked this up at WallyWorld last nite for $49.99 - I've bought Sansa products for my kids before and they seemed decent.
1. This is a very good price for an 8 GB flash memory device that is not "Flying Dragon" brand. Windows shows 7.6 GB available.
2. The display screen if pretty small but it is an OLED display and is actually quite bright and therefore readable.
3. Controls are simple and pretty intuitive. Press the middle button to select, press the up down or sideways arrows to go that way.
4. Sound quality is just fine. I have pretty reduced hearing ranges so I'm not a great judge of sound quality.
5. Really small. I mean really small. Length is same as a matchbook, not as wide. About 1/3 inch thick. Weight about 2 oz. You can clip it on the front of your T shirt and not even know it's there.
6. Assuming that the battery life is decent, I would give this a 5/5 .
7. Update. Played about 4-6 hours of music so far, and it's still showing 75% charge left, so it looks like battery life is good.
