Dual display wallpaper

Post by Executioner »

I've downloaded a 3200x1200 wallpaper, and I can't seem to get the wallpaper to display correctly on both monitors. The monitors are standard 4:3 size (19"). I'm using Win2k. If I select tile, I can it on both correctly, but parts are missing from view. If I select stretch, the same picture is on both. If I select center, its the same as stretch. How do I get the wallpaper to display correctly across both monitors?

Windows (2K & XP at least) does not natively spread a wallpaper across multiple monitors - it repeats the image on each monitor.

As Pugsley suggested I use Ultramon to spread one wallpaper across both monitors: http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

Has some other nice features as well.

Well, you could just cut it in half. I used to to do that back in the day.
