Big probs people!

1st:
I've connected the 'LINE OUT 1/ LINE OUT 2/ LINE OUT 3' from my Creative audigy 2 ZS card and connected them to the '5.1 input' on my SONY A/V receiver
(was told that this would allow surround at all times once enabled VIA creative settings)
2nd:
My graphic card 'GeFORCE 7800 GTX' has 2x DVI-out.
1st DVI = LCD TV (DVI-VGA)
2nd DVI = HP2335 23" LCD PC screen
Problems......
The picture on the TV isnt right! its showing 'out of scale' and when playing movies it pulls the screen to the right leaving a 2" black edge on the left hand side of screen.
My LCD TV is an LG (37LG51 - HD-ready 1336x768) but i cant use any of those resolutions!
NvIDIA allows me to choose my HP2335 screen as HDTV screen.... but not the LG LCD which is HD-ready!!??
WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST CONNECTION??????
DVI-VGA (analog pc input)???
DVI-HDMI???
DVI-DVI/HDMI CONVERTER-HDMI???

If you have a VGA input on the HDTV use that. Assuming you figure out what resolution the TV prefers which can be tricky, that will work the best with no centering or overscanning. HDMI and DVI will likely cause overscanning and unless the TV itself has an adjustment for it, you won't be happy with that.
If your only issue is centering the image, then your video card driver's control panel should have controls to do that - both NVidia and ATI does.
The toughest trick is usually finding the resolution the TV wants and it's not always the native resolution of the LCD panel. You'll have to experiment. In your case you'll probably need to use 1280x720. Make sure you are using a 60 Hz refresh.
The reason NVidia is apparently mis-reporting the type of display is because the HDTV is not sending any info back to the computer to tell it what type of display it is. All modern computer displays do this, HDTVs generally don't.
Since you have two displays connected, how are you using them? In mirror mode (both displays showing the same image) or dual monitor mode (both displays combined into one continuous desktop)? You may have issues with mirror mode since both monitors have to use the same resolution and refresh. I would recommend dual monitor mode at least until you get it setup right. Later you might be able to get it to work in mirror mode.

Nvidia has a 'screen moving' tool... this i have used but it doesn't work! my friend was just now able to fix it VIA the TV's menu.... so the only other 'UNIT' that has the same problem with image is the PS2 :the video lead on PS2 has the Yellow/Black/White RCA contacts, (i only use the VIDEO lead as AUDIO from PS2-A/V Reciever is VIA digital optical)

I thought maybe the problem was an imput on the reciever so i changed it around.... even connected the VIDEO cable directly to the TV's AV3 input... still same problem!

are you also setting HDTV resolution for the tv on the 2nd dvi in the nView panel?
Since TV's only do 480,720,1080(somtimes 576)
EDIT: n/m just read the part about the monitor being seen as HDTV so second part can still be releavent
other than that would suggest swapping 1st and 2nd as I've seen where different screens can have odd problems on another input.
