i have a sony vaio laptop that has one key that pop off the keyboard .
any ideas on how to reset it in place .the spring clip is still there on the key. i rather clip it back in place then glue it as it don't seem to of broke . just kind of pop off .the biggest problem im seeing is what tools to use to compress the plastic clip on the key to hook it up to the metal bracket .

the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

Most laptop keys just pop back in place, but sometimes it's hard to tell how. Unfortunately the only way to tell is to pop another one off.
Also wouldn't to google around - you may find someone that has put up a tutorial.

Usually all it takes is centering it where is supposed to go and pressing down until it snaps back in place....if the clip is still connected to the laptop. If not, first remove the clip from the key, reinstall it, then the key. I use very small flat screwdrivers to install the clips.
I replace keys all the time. I have over a hundred differnet keyboards I use to replace customers keys and buttons.

thanks guys i did a little custom adjustment of the metal clips on the keyboard .and all seems to wook keys a little cocked but its staying in place
