I think I actually wore out a dvdr

Post by nexus_7 »

First time ever I have a system outlive a disk drive. But I guess burning 10-20 movies a week on it can do that to a drive...and its a plextor. Sad day.

It still works some times, but only finds disks in it when it feels like it and only burns correctly about 1/2 the time. Ohwell. Its old anyways. even though it is a 16x...I think.

You ought to contact Plextor and see if they can either repair it or trade it for an upgrade. Their customer service is great.

I've worn out many. Though, I usually get over a year out of them.
