Only thing I can buy local is Wal-mart, so normally 92 brightness 24Lb 500 sheet. GP inkjet.
Though I just bought some 20lb copy and print 92 brightness 20LB GP to try.

It really depends too what I am wanting to print. Right now I need to do about 2500 pages for manuals for new software, double sided printing that's still 1250 pages.

Maybe I should slow down on buying new software for while LOL

Really bad thing is I just printed 500 of 600 pages for one program, they updated the program with lots of new features and now the manual is like 800 pages and it don't look like the first 500 are the same either, so toss those and start over I guess.

Glad I refill my own carts and not buy new ones all the time!!!

Dude, get a Laser Jet, they're so inexpensive now. You're throwing money away printing that much with a Laser.. Just my .02

Your doing that many pages on INKJET!? Must take days and cost a fortune!

I buy it by the case. It's not really that expensive & I keep the things for about 5 years (not a frequent printer).

You don't have a wife that prints 30 friggen pages of stuff for her home business either (instead of using the materials that they provide).

Nope, I really slowed down on the printing last few years, unfortunatly money too.
I refill cartriges so ink is trival expense. My Canon I850 lasted for years before frying a print head, refilled weekly on same first manufactors tanks, and running 1,000-2500 sheets a month. I once printed tickets for a theater, show bills, programs, etc.. and cost me like 1cent per page for paper and near nothing for ink and was thousands of pages!! That was an odd thing, but I used to print a few hundred pages a week easy and often more.

Bulk ink and refill, that's where the savings is on inkjets. Also GOOD injets like Canon I850 or IP4200 with seperate tanks, preferably clear tanks so you can see the ink levels. Xerox and Epson suck like HP or Lemark, even single tanks if you can't see the ink levels it's harder to refill correctly. All in one tanks are a SCAM, you throw away far more ink than you really use, and even if you refill it's allot of waste and hard to do those correct. Trust me, I know from years of massive printing. Too bad I don't make any money anymore like I used to printing stuff.
