Oh, it's not just Monster Cable, there are several out there that are pulling the wool over peoples eyes. I've been preaching this for years to deaf ears. Same goes for other types of cables, but speaker cable most of all. Most people don't even need 14 gauge better yet 12 or higher for speakers. They just don't use that much power.

I too have been telling people this for years. But no, people swear up and down that they do SOUND better.

i've been sharing this article with people and loving every second of their reactions...
i usually get my speaker cable from the local hardware store. i do not doubt that there MAY be a tiny, measurable difference in audio quality...but at that level of difference, other things overwhelm any gains heard. IMO, first would be the quality of every other component, the recording itself...and ultimately the acoustics of the room. since most people don't have studio quality listening rooms, it's all just wasted money.
