Sli?

Post by Key Keeper »

Was thinking about buying two of these for SLI vs one really expensive card. What you guys think? My mobo runs cards at 8x in sli though, think its still worth it?

You would be better off with a single 8800 GT.

Do not get the 8800GTS. Get a 8800GT. Sadly, it is cheaper and outperforms a 8800GTS.

8800GT also isn't a double slot card, so it doesn't take up as much space in your computer, go figure.

Yeah, you can also try Best Buy's too. I got one from there, they might have one in stock. Might even be able to come across one of those 10% coupons too. I prefer BFG Tech due to the lifetime warranty which they actually honor.

I prefer XFX, BFG or PNY.
