went to check my email and clicked on the icon. realized I already had it open and closed the second one - and poof got the account wizard - really weird .... i was able to find my address book but have no idea what happened to the rest - looked at the faqs quickly and it appears that my profile disappeared/was overwritten/corrupt - don't have time to fool with it right now

anyone else had this happen?

edit - system restore didn't help

I had this happen with Firefox oddly, luckily it makes backups, not with Thunderbird though, sorry.

You know where Thunderbird profiles are usually stored right? Just making sure you checked there first
