That may very well be true, but any company that strongarms businesses to sell only their product is crap in my opinion. Besides, while Intel is winning the battle now, they'll never win the war. AMD will always dominate Intel in customer satisfaction. For gaming, AMD is the way to go, no matter what the numbers say.

i'm no expert in multi-billion dollar business management, but i'm sure AMD business is not all fluffy bunnies and sunshine either. don't get me wrong, i prefer AMD simply because they have always been "trying" harder due to being an underdog...better prices...eventually better performance. it's just a leapfrog scenario...Intel was on top...then AMD...then Intel...then AMD...it's the same for all major products (NVidia vs. ATI, etc). once AMD comes out with their next gen cpu i'm sure it will even things out or put them back on top...and then the cycle continues.
GA- from your other posts you really seem to have it out for Intel. besides them "strongarming" businesses, did they kick your dog or something?
just curious, not trying to defend either side.

You are also talking about versions of CPUs which are not in the consumers price range.

Don't forget that the E6600 overclocked from 2.40GHz to 4GHz
using air cooling. That beats both the reviewed CPUs and its
retail is $316.
