When trying to upload via ftp, system reboots

Post by blade »

Very annoying. I have tried 3 FTP apps and as soon as I try and connect, my system reboots.

Did a full virus scan, spyware scan, danced upside down, nothing worked.

Anyone ever hear of this, or know a solution?

It's an aopen nforce 3 mobo. Soon to be replaced though and used only as a folding machine. Using the onboard lan. It has alway worked fine before.

I've also tried disabling kerio, kaspersky and any other firewalls. Even pausing folding. Still reboots.

Has this been occuring in just the past few days? I was talking to a friend today about my machine, ever since about 4 days ago. When I dl via DC ++ or Limewire my Pc locks.
His is rebooting...
He mentioned that someone told him NAV was goofing with the last Windows update.
I uninstalled Norton and the Prob is gone...

I would suspect the NIC driver. You got another NIC you can test in there?

I do. But this case is a pain to add things in. About to change cases and systems as my main one hopefully during the weekend. Guess I'll know then.

thank you :)
