Does anybody know of a place to get a powersupply that takes 12v input? I have a 1000 watt inverter in my car... but would perfer to keep it dedicated to the air compressor and not put a computer on it too. So im looking for a ATX powesupply that can take 12v as the input.

Thanks

$162 US.. That is pretty pricey.. I'm surprised with all your knowledge about electronics you can't make one.. ;)

I could. And might just do it. The part that gets me is the whole working at 9V. I guess it must have a small inverter onboard. But if it were 12v+ in constantly then yea. making one would not be hard.

Minibox MiniPSUs

These guys have a lot of 12v PSUs that you might be able to use if you don't decide to make one.
