Soundcard, speaker recommendations.

ok, right currently i have the Audigy 2 ZS i was just wondering if its worth getting the Audygy 4 X-Fi soundcard, just wondering cause im planning on buying the Creative Gigaworks S750 pretty soon is it worth it or shall i just get the speakers. and if anyone has any recommendations on any other speakers ill be happy to hear it.
my current 5.1 set ive broken the rear speakers cause i sucked the cable up with the hoover
ill be more carefull with the next lot.
