there is a crappy computer that i've been trying to fix that uses MBA (Managed PC Boot Agent) to boot up, and it searches for a DHCP, and it searches like 3 times before it goes to Disk Boot Failure Insert system disk and press Enter. It runs XP, and I have really no clue of what to do. I'm not familiar with MBA at all, and not sure if thats the problem. Hopefully some of you can help me out. THANKS!

I worked on this system Friday, i checked all the wire connections of the floppy and cd-rom, everything is connected right. I shut it down for the weekend, and this morning the people that wanted it fixed; booted it up and they could get on it. So i decided to reboot to see if it can start up again, but it didn't. PLEASE HELP!

It's trying to boot from the network card. Some office LANs use computers with no hard drives in them - they boot windows from the server directly over the network connection.

Most modern mobos are capable of doing this.

There should be a setting in BIOS to either disable it or change the boot order so that the network boot is AFTER all other devices. Boot order should be Floppy->CD Rom->HDD->anything else
