Compaq Professional Server AP550 problem

A coworker of my wife's has this server sold to her used as a home computer that doesn't work now.

I have no experience with a server or much with compaq but it wont post or display. It has a dual slot 1 mb(1 cpu and a terminator?), scsi(no devices connected) dual rimm(1 rimm and 1 terminator per pair) and a dual dvi matrox 650 vid card.

It does power up but no post, I tried both vid card connectors, another ati agp card and a pci vid card with still no display or post boot.

It has a cmos button that I've also pushed. The side panel has a windows 2000 licence on it. I downloaded a manual but its very basic.

Its a totally solidly built computer but inappropriate for her and she has no money so I'll sort out her old 233mmx once I find a serial mouse for her.

Any ideas at all on the compaq? I've reseated the cpu, and ram.
