The keys are programable... They are each little LCDs...

now thats a great ideal... i dont want to know how much thats gonna cost... cause it looks like all the keys seem to be color. no doubt you can have some neat looking keyboard arrangements... and it can all be changing colors and stuff at random... ok i want one now if thats posiible.. i can program up some neat looking effects for it.

hell depending on how fast they change you can use it to run video... or have a big picture across them all and have one of them extra keys mapped to make it look like a normal board again. the possibilitys are allmost endless.

thats mint! i imangine that there will be software for a windows computer and the mac key will just change itself to a windows key

Only problem I see is that the keys flat not concave. That would hurt your finger tips over the long haul, but it would make a sweet LAN party keyboard just for bragging right.

EDIT
I took another look and they are SLIGHTLY concave. I still think they'd be uncomfortable if you used it all the time though.

Umm they got like 150k hits the first day of major widespread news of this thing, now assuming they are all like me, that would be a whole lot of money for them seeing as I want two if not three, lol. But seriously i wonder what it would cost to make those keyboards, AND then how much they would charge us consumers for it.

As far as I can tell this is no where near production, even if it was it'll cost a forturne. None of you will be able to afford it.

It will be OS-independent (at least it can work in some default state with any OS)

It will be an open-source keyboard, SDK will be available
