Anyone know of a gadget that turns off all the fans in a case when in Standby mode?

I'm putting together an HTPC and I'd like to leave it running all the time and just put it Standby mode when not in use, instead of powering it off.

Even in standby, all the fans continue to run. I don't mind the PSU fan but it'd be nice to shut down the case and CPU fan to keep the noise level down.

Any ideas short of a seperate fan switch (not very practical)? I'm wondering if someone makes a circuit that can do this automatically.

that is a good question... I could make up a circuit provided you have a hibernate LED spot on your header to the front pannel. But if it flashes that might be a problem.

EDIT: no it wouldnet just add a capasitor and on other thing and that woudl fix that problem... so yes i could make a board that can do that privided the latter exist.

does your motherboard support S3/STR standby state (suspend to RAM?) It sounds like it's set to S1/POS (Power-On Standby.) S3 should power pretty much everything but the RAM down, and it'll still wake up much quicker than a cold boot.
