i just bought a camera starter pak from wally world . anyone ever use DIGITAL brand rechargeable batterys .
if you have what has been your luck with them ?
at $20 for the kit 4 AA rechargeable batterys ,charger unit ,camera case ,cheap camera mini stand -(if you want it its yours for the shipping

.) I'll never use it . memory card holder case ,5 pack of 4x8 hi glooss paper ,and a univeral lens cleaning unit it was a sweet price -i just hope the charger and batterys hold up this and camera case was all i wanted the whole kit for anyway .
so if you want the pack of paper ,memory wallet ,tripod speak up

( remember im in Arizona right now )
but how do these rechargeable battery ,charge stack up to the twice as costly eveready ones ?

I have some now but they are a little less quality as the better name brands. But for the price they are worth it. They don't hold a charge past 1-2 weeks. I'd think with that camera they should be good for around 100 or more pics. Not too shabby.
Also, it gets HOt there as you know. It's best to keep the batteries and the camera out of the heat and direct sunlight.

I have used the digital brand wally cheapos, and they work decently. I get about 200 snaps per recharge and got about 1.5 years of life outa my last set before i replaced them- well worth 10 bucks

Absolutley the Best rechargeable batteries and best charger is the PowerEx batteries and the MAHA charger. I've bought a couple of sets of these:

I'm using 2 year old 1800 MAh PowerEx batteries in my camera and I can shoot 300+ photos no problem.

I've got tried both Energizer rechargables and Duracell rechargables, but neither of them will recharge "IN" my camera on the base (they should, shouldn't they?) And when they get a full charge on the charger, my camera says they're only half full.. Any thoughts? Kodak DX3500

Your camera must only fully recognize certain batteries eGo. I agree it should recharge any brand. All the cameras I've ever had never could charge batteries in them so I never tried that. If you don't have a regular charger they can be had for around $10 or less. wally world has a charger and 4 batteries for around that price.
I have a maha charger from the place FP linked to but now I use a 4 hour charger I bought at wally world. The lower cost chargers are usually under 10 bux and charge overnight. The 4 hour charger and 4 batteries are around $16 at wallys and work fine.
*edit Doh! I missread your post. I see you are using a charger. Must be the camera picky about some brands, or perhaps the charger isn't right.
And of course some cameras use more juice than others. I had an olympus that could shoot 300+ pics on 2 batteries and another that could barely shoot 100 on 4 batteries.
