Need Some Better Eyes

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

Just want to make sure I'm not overlooking it somewhere. I'm picking up an ECS 741GX-M for a build I'm doing. It's for an mATX case and the PSU in the case does not have the P4 connector. I want to make sure that there isn't a requirement for it on this board. Here's a link to NewEgg, if somebody else can just verify that I'm not seeing one I'd appreciate it. :)

Thanks Guys..

if it does require a 4pin connection there are adaptors that take a molex connection to a 4pin

I've had some old school 423 and even a older sis chipset 478 P4 board not be able to support a "modern" graphics card because of the lack of power to the AGP slot. Something like a GF2 MX400 worked, a Hercules Prophet 4000xt, but a 9200se 128mb wouldn't. Neither would a fx5200.
IIRC we also tried a GF4 MX440, AGP 4x, and it wouldn't work either.

Strange, and sad really :(
