changing drive leters and another thing

i know how in ME but not xp pro
hd1 C
hd2 d
hd3 e
cd1 f
hd4 g
i want to change the hd4 to f
and change cd1 to g
the other thing is, i cant access the ctrl, aft, delete
when i hit it the only thing that comes is the users
and yes the account im using has admin rights

To change driveletters:
Rightclick My Computer > Manage > Storage > Disk Management
Rightclick cd1 and change to next highest driveletter
Rightclick hd4 and change to the now free f:
Rightclick cd1 and change to g:
I guess you want the Admin as logon? Check
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/admins.htm and see if that answers your question

users accounts in the Control panel saids that im the admin already
and the part about changin gthe drive letters worked (thanks) but not for the cdrom

When you ctrl-alt-del the window comes up displaying users? Just click them applications tab right under the file/options/view/etc menus

Looks like fast user switching and/or using welcome screen is enabled. There <i>should</i> be tabs for the different tasks. I'll post a screenshot of what mine looks like in a minute.

Are you using any kinda theme / window enhancement (window blinds)? If so, try to disable it .... never seen something like that before

yes i am, ive hit alt crtl del before with it on
and it worked, its disable now,
the task manager is back but not there is no user tab
no it does not matter, im the only user
