nt? Anyway, just run scandisk in DOS. It'll scan your drive and mark the bad sectors bad, so windows won't write to 'em.

There's a few freeware disk utils for NT, but the best product is Norton Disk Doctor which comes in Norton Utilities for NT.

You could use the DOS version of scandisk on a 98 emergency floppy as Hipnotic suggested BUT that will only work if the drive is formatted in FAT16 not NTFS. Also, it won't work on drives using NT software mirroring.

If this is a mission critical system, it's worth investing in Norton Utilities.

Hehe, I'm pretty sure that in this case "NT" stands for "no text" and not Windows NT.
