Whats the word on nVidias IDE driver??

I'm putting up a A64 box here... rnning SATA drives
Installing nVidias software thingy lets me choose to install IDE driver or not... what to do??

Probably means nvidia's custom SWide drivers, some like them some don't. I haven't played with them for a while, I don't really know what the current verdict is. I know that they make your ide devices show up as scsi in the device manager, makes some burning/disk programs go crazy. If you are booting from your sata drive you might as well skip them- any performance you might gain would probably be unnoticed since you are booting from a drive on a different controller.
