I think FP posted it originally - i remember trying it and it was a bit of a resource hog and I deleted it

Favorites checker? Not even sure what that is. Plz elaborate....

Not sure either but maybe you are talking about FavOrg? You run it and it checks to make sure the links are all valid and it makes IE retain the little Icons that websites have instead of using the default one that IE uses. Hit Google up for Favorg and I am sure you will find it if that is what you are looking for.
