Help! Monitor Freaking Out!

just annoying. my monitor is not flickering but kinda spazzing out, everything get's all fuzzy, like you just woke up. anyway to fix it? thx.

If you're LUCKY it just needs degaussing. Most monitors you just turn it off and back on again to degauss. If not, check the monitor control menu for a degauss option.

Make sure the the plug is firmly connected to the video card.

mine did this about 1 1/2 years ago. i tought it was dying, but it is still working.
I never really found out what the problem was, somebody else was playing on the computer and he had set the refresh rate at 120 which is way to high for this monitor.
Check you refresh rate maybe it was set to high.
An other thing which could have been a problem is a dirty screen, (I dont know how, but somewhere I read on a forum that it could affect the performance of your screen)
so may be try if cleaning helps.

Yes pushing the refresh rate too high - especially on an older monitor, can make it do that.
