Hey Guys,

Working on a clients computer and whenever I boot into DocMem, it will run for a few seconds then the PC will reboot.. Would this be a good sign that there is a bad stick of memmory? I sure hope not, because it's RamBus.. lol.. Just curious if anybody else has seen this..

***edit*** I also just realized how hard this would be to determine "which" stick is bad as I don't have any and you have to run it in pairs.. No? Man this should be fun..

Well.... Got it to run finally and it's failing shit left and right.. Damn this is sad.. It's gonna cost this client $200 for new memmory.. That's crappy I say! I'm off on the hunt for RAM..

Try MemTest86 instead:
http://www.memtest86.com/

DocMem is now too old. I've had good luck with memtest86.

Also, I think you don't have to run it in pairs either. I heard you can get basicly a blank stick to put in there to be able to finish off the circuit, not sure, just what I read once in an article about RAMBus.

I would also recommend Memtest86 over DocMemory. I've had situations where Docmemory would lockup or crash on systems with certain hardware configurations.
