Windows XP install prob..

Post by blingboi »

i have 3 partitions.. C, D, and, E, i want to install xp to my E drive(dont ask why.. i want to install it on the c: but the partition is too freaking small/not my laptop either and dont want to mess with it)

i get this error after i finish the copying files part..

Error Message: Cannot Find \Windows\System32\hal.dll
-i think its asking this because it looks at the c drive first..

how can i make it look at my e drive first sirs?
(theres information i dont want lost on C and D.. thanks)

is it an option to go into fdisk and make my "E" my master drive without causing me to reformat my C drive?
