Stupid question...but still would like to know

When you buy a case, it always comes with a baggy with screws etc.
My Question: what are the washers for, (little brownish-red coloroud things) where are they supposed to go? On the MB or for mounting the drives.

Usually used between the mobo screws and the mobo if I am correct. I've always used them for that if I use them. I guess you could use them for the drive bays but I don't know if they would serve a purpose.

They are supposed to be used on the screws holding down the mobo. They usually aren't required because mobos don't ground the screw pads anymore (all modern mobos use a single-point ground - the power supply cable).

I still like to use them because some mobos have circuit traces that are VERY close to the screw pads and better safe than sorry.
