Dang that shot makes it looks smaller than it is.. and its wider than tall belive it or not..

But anyway I love it so far. The clarity is unbelievable and the colors are great. Dint realize how dim my Sony 420gs 19" was getting after all the years.

Thought fer sure running 12x10 (native res) would be a problem with my poorer eyesight, but nope, Its so sharp that it's not a problem. The newly gained real estate is real nice too especialy in photoshop. Those of you that chop know what I'm sayin..

As for games it lacks a bit for a 25ms display but not near as bad as people were making it sound.
In fact just got done with a "worst case (IMHO)" in farcry.. the catacombs. had to play with the game settings a bit, but made it through and once back into daylight I notice very little smear. Takes some getting used to, but not unplayable as some would claim.

Question about BF.

If im hooked up DVI battlefield is a bloated pig displaywise. Even the intro movie is way off to the right and down.. Looks like its running 600x480 and instists on looking that way no matter what rez I pick .. yuck!
Weird thng is if I hook up the d-sud and inplug DVI the game works fine.. ??

Is there a quick fix too get BF to play right in DVI or just plug in d sub and forget DVI. (I really can't tell the differance anyway sofar)

1942 and BF:V do that to me on the intro and menu screens on my Samsung LCD all the time too. It has something to to with BF switching to 800x600 for the menus, if I hit the auto adjust when the screen garbles it fixes it.

Hmmm.. DVI dosn't let me do that, nothing happens .. I think it assumes life is good being it's direct signal... How ever if I go d-sub I see the montor flash auto ajust and thing are good with no user intrvention.
Weird.. why does BF bring out the wrost in a rig every time LOL!! Its the only game givin me hell in DVI..

I am using DVI also, when I hit the auto button the screen goes black and displays a box that says "auto adjust not available". When the display comes back all of the garbble is gone. I tried for the heck of it and it worked. I have no idea----
