I have a Lexar 64mb SD card that I'm not to sure is working right. Pictures look like crap with it.

If anyone has a digicam that takes an SD card I'd like to send it to you and have you check it out for me. Or you could send me your camera :D

PM and we'll work out the details.

Thanks

Dan

DaMan, sent you a PM

Greg, SD is secure digital. I use it in my JVC mini DV and Vivitar digicam.

Why not go to Walmart and buy a card reader? They're cheap, and you could always return it.

I ahve 2 different readers,a Kodak and a Lexar. The pictures read by either reader look terrible. It's either the card or camera. Need to know which one to take back.

There's nothing to a reader so I'd say it's the stick, especially if 2 different readers come up the same way.

I'd try the readers on a different computer though to make sure it's not a USB bus data corruption issue.

Memory stick can become corrupt. Might not be a permanent problem, just corrupt data.

Make sure you check your settings on the camera as well, some have it where you can use more compression to get more pictures onto the media. Use the least compression possible in order to get the best picture quality.

I've got the camera set to the highest quality setting. It's either the camera or the card. With my luck it's probably both.

thanks
