hard drive mount

Post by Floater »

this is a silly question, but I'm stumped.

does anyone know where I could buy some hard drive mounting rails to fit in a 5.25" bay in my case? The hard drive is a standard 3.5" wide, but I don't have any of those bays left, so I need an adapter to mount it in. I tried newegg and compusa, but neither have it.

thanks for your help in advance.

I would think any local Mom & Pop type shop would have those and probably give them to you

That includes the mounting brackets. You can choose whether or not you want to use the fan thing.

Heh, I really wish you did your homework on my thread of WTB a nice server case. I had several pointed out there that converts 2 5 1/4 drive bays into three 3 1/2 drive bays. Really nice especially if your running out of room, like you already stated.
