I think it is time I get a soundcard again

Post by nexus_7 »

I have been using onboard sound for the past 2-3 years, maybe more and it has always been OK for me. Nothing greeat by any meens but it worked.

Well, I got those new Zalmon 5.1 headphones and with the onboard sound it jsut does not push enough with these.

What card would you sugest? Under $100, NO stupid external box, and no stupid 5 1/4 bay thing needed eithor.

All I want is a Good sound card that can make these headphones come to life.

Just kind of thinking out loud here but ya think a headphone amp might be what you need rather than a new sound card?

thats gana cost me atleast $50 for a good one anyways might as well jsut get a sound card that amps the audio and get better sound out of it at the same time.

Maybe I dont know what I am talking about but I think that would work and make more sence.
