Why does it seem so hard to buy a case without a PSU?

I don't know if I'd classify this as a rant, but it's something that has always bugged me. The fact that it is a lot harder to find a nice case, without a power supply. I know I'm paying an extra 20 or 30 or more dollars for a power supply I'm not going to use.
I have a pretty nice power supply right now (Antec TruePower 450w) and don't want to replace it, but I do want to replace my ghetto 30 dollar case. The thing is aside from some like the chieftec cases, just about every case comes with the PSU, without an option to get the same case without the power supply.
Anyone else get as ruffled about this as I do, or do you guys know something that I don't

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Cases and their Psu's are made in bulk, so the power supply shouldn't add that much cost to the case. Swap out the ps in your new case with your Antec, and save the other one in case you need a back-up...
And if you sell your old computer or make a media computer, that extra psu is going to come in handy...

You're not shopping in the right places. Any mail order place that caters to performance builders sells cases with and without PSUs.
Try Directron - they sell a lot of cases without PSUs, or with your choice of PSU.

Directron is a pretty reliable place. Their prices aren't too bad either.

UberNeuman, yeah, its not a huge deal but it just always hit me as something that ought to be, that wasn't.
But I suppose you guys are right in that I wasn't looking in the right places. Thanks for the tip and the link.
I guess it's just motivation to build ANOTHER computer with the extra power supply.... hmmmmmm

antec offers some great cases that do not include power supplies...the P160 is an example.
also check out
http://www.newegg.com for a wide selection of cases.

The thing about newegg is that they don't ship to Canada. I've still gotta search around on Directron's site to see if they do.
And about the antecs, you're right. That's what I've been narrowing down the search to. Guess this should have been a "help sandeep find a case without a power supply" instead of what it was
Now the hunt starts for a local store that carries some of these cases so I dont have to pay half the price of the case for shipping.
Appreciate the tips fellas.
