Are there any uses for a "dead" motherboard?

A couple months ago, my ECS K7S5a died, so I picked up a Soltek 75FRN2L as well as a 2500 barton.

My question is, I don't exactly know what was wrong with the board, but is there anything I can salvage from the board before I scrap it, or shall I just toss it?

I have the XP 1900+ that was on it, and have yet to test it, but I'll do that another time (plus, I'm pretty sure that it's fine). I just don't feel like taking apart my box right now.

So that's the deal. Anything worth keeping on there?

dopey, i dunno if i'd hang up hardware that's failed on me :D .

and Karchiveur, if you want, I can find out the cost and let you know. it's yours if you want to pay the shipping. I've got the original box for it, so shipping it should be easy enough.

Well it's going out to Karchiveur as soon as I price the shipping for him. I was just gonna toss it, I guess now someone can use it.
