MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R Opinions?

I know a few of you have this mobo and I'm looking for opinions on it, or other alternative AMD 64-bit mobos.

I'm not really sure I want to upgrade yet - everything is running well on my AMD 2400+ system - but I'm getting the itch and I'm researching a possible upgrade.

Interested in the MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R because I've read some good reviews on it and a couple of people here have spoken well about it.

I like MSI boards and I read a good review of this board on Motherboards.org.

Some other questions:

- What would you guys say is the price/performance 64-bit CPU right now? I'm looking at the AMD 64 3000+ or 3200+

- What speed RAM am I going to be running on this mobo? I'm not clear on this. I am NOT interested in overclocking so what's the default RAM clock speed for these CPUs?

- Is anyone running WinXP 64-bit and if so, is it worth it to do so? For now I'm assuming I'll be running standard WinXP Pro on this system.

Thanks....

I have the K8T NEO FSR with an A64 XP3400+. Real stable board once you find some compatible ram for it. You can't go wrong with either one of the K8T NEO boards.

Dunno yet. I have it here ( beta release ). Stop down and we'll try to get it on here. :D

I have it ( XP64 ) dnloaded but somehow I fubar'd the burn to cdr. Have to try it again. There's no driver for my sound card yet either so that's why I haven't rushed to install it.
